This is one of the most common interview question, and for good reason. Yet it may be one of the hardest you will encounter in your interview. Of course employers want to understand your motivation, why you think you are a good fit, if you've prepared for the interview, and even if this is just one of the 500 companies you've applied to.

Unfortunately, saying "I need a job" doesn't show an employer that you'll care about the job, even though it may be the truth.
